Art in Play

Hello everyone! I attended a wedding over the weekend and there were a bunch of children at the event. I watched how beautifully they played together and it got me thinking about much we could learn, in general, from children. They have no inhibitions, no fears as to what others will think of them, or any deep opinions about whether or not they’re doing something wrong. If they felt like playing, then play they did! I often feel held back because of how scary unpredictable situations can be, which makes this week’s quote a good reminder that just because we grow up, we don’t have to lose that innocence and playfulness.

Let’s think about taking some time this week to play. Work will always be there…but the present moment will not.

‘Till next time!
