If you haven’t discovered it yet, and you love haunted houses, The 17th Door is all the rage this year. Created by a husband and wife team, Heather and Robbie Luther, this haunted house is unique in that it has a story throughout and you have to sign a waiver in order to visit. I will be found nowhere near it but you might! …if you dare. Enjoy!
Hi everyone! Need some extra frights and scares to get you in the mood for Halloween? Look no further! I picked the top 5 scariest movie trailers (according to yours truly, of course) and ranked them from scary to frightful. I have seen none of these movies and I don’t plan to, as I’m about the biggest scaredy-cat out there (which is why I do trailers and, even so, was hanging on tight to my gummy bears as I watched). My #1 and #2 scariest trailers will haunt me for days… Enjoy!
“I ain’t afraid of no ghost!” Who remembers those lyrics? Such a good movie.
But while you may not be afraid of ghosts like I am, there’s definitely something you’re afraid of, I guarantee it. Here’s a list of the top 10 things most people are scared of. Where does your fear fall?
Hi everyone! Good Morning America presented artist Edward Cabral’s work and it is truly breathtaking, so I’m bringing him to you. Here’s a time lapse video of him making the Headless Horseman, and if you want to see more masterpieces, click here. You will not be disappointed. It’s just a shame the art dies with the pumpkin…
Like comedy? Need a costume idea? Look no further! Here are some great ideas from SNL with simple suggestions about how to make the costume and character come to life. I already have my costume, but maybe next year I’ll be Church Lady. Enjoy!
Growing up in southern California, it was always nice to brag that Disneyland was kind of in our backyard. I, personally, have never outgrown the magic of Disneyland and, one day, I will surely have my wedding there… But one thing I didn’t know was that there is a lot more to the Haunted Mansion than meets the eye. In Sunday’s Calendar section of the Los Angeles Times, an article gives some hidden information that only deepens mysteries about the Mansion such as the tale of the sea captain, his wife, the murder, and the ghostly hat box. Have you ever seen any of them? Me neither. But they’re there! (Except for maybe the murder. It almost was…)
I’m including a video created by the Disney History Institute in which questions about the Hatbox Ghost are analyzed, and should you want more information about the Mansion, you can visit Doombuggies.
Pirates of the Caribbean has always been my favorite ride, but I will definitely be paying closer attention to the details the next time I’m visiting the Haunted Mansion. Who knows, perhaps I’ll spot the sea captain’s ghost wandering around or maybe I’ll find Constance’s pearls…
